12 Day Level 3 Certificate

This 12 day Certificate completes the 20 day course. During these 12 days you will progress to clipper work and detailed scissoring. You will learn the most popular commercial cuts. This will give you the complete framework and experience in order to set up as a self-employed groomer or work within a salon. The optional additional cost of £699.50 covers your examination and officiate certification provided by Ofqual. In addition this also includes your Free Pet First Aid course)

The course syllabus is designed to prepare you for a successful attempt at achieving either of the qualifications above. That is, you will study towards the qualifications whether or not you decide to attempt them.

Course Summary

The Groomers Training School recommended training prepares you for either joining employment at an established salon or gives you the basic foundation for setting up your own grooming service as a self-employed person. You will be walked through the basics of all aspects of salon management, including business set up.

At the beginning of your course:

• You will be provided with the necessary course resources

• You will be briefed on what to expect day to day

• You will be inducted to the salon environment as well as mandatory aspects of health and safety and risk management

Throughout the course:

• You will undertake practical grooming and styling training

• You will work through the Heavenlyz course guide

• You will be prepared to undertake several practical assessments

You can purchase at any time your personal The Groomers Training school Kit. The Kit will be invaluable for use during and after the course and contains a wide variety of quality equipment, enabling course completion and the offering of grooming services to paying customers.

Course Days: Wednesday – Thursday – Friday and alternate Saturdays

We recommend that you aim to attend as many days as possible in as few weeks as possible. If you wish, you can choose to study over a longer period by attending fewer days per week. However, we do not recommend this approach as it is more probable that you will spend longer on each day recapping on what you have previously learnt. This will allow you less time to concentrate on the topics you have to move on to and may not lead to the best outcome.

Course Length: 12 attended days, dates to be discussed to fit customer and business availability.

Course Start and End: Subject to customer and business availability, courses can start as early as the day after a confirmed booking or customers can start their course months after booking has been confirmed. Courses must be complete within 13 months of confirmed booking.

Course Times: Start 10AM and finish 3PM per each attended day, but flexibility can be discussed

Course Fee: 12 Days - £1500 all inclusive

The Groomer Training school submits evidence of your assessment to the relevant awarding body, who review this evidence. Once your practical assessment(s) and theory exam(s) have both been approved by the relevant awarding body they will despatch your certificate(s) to us, we will check them and forward them on to you. The awarding body process can take months, it is common for certificates to arrive with you 6 months after your final assessment/exam.

Your certificate is proof of your level of competence and of your achievement for which you worked so hard.
